Woman reflecting on her career

You're ready to stop feeling stuck and start moving forward.

You’ve been wanting to make more money, but promotions keep passing you up, you’re seeing fewer raises, and you’re not sure what to do.

You’re trying to have a “work-life balance,” but getting ahead makes you irritable with your loved ones and doesn’t allow much time for hobbies.

You want your work to fit your lifestyle and not give you the Sunday scaries or make your left eye twitch when you think about clocking in.

You want to feel excited about where you’re headed and the greater impact you're having in life, instead of feeling overwhelming imposter syndrome.

Imagine that in four weeks you…

Finally, feel proactive about your career or start your business! You have more energy than you've seen in the last six months and feel excited about your work (and your life in general).

You're making decisions, feel GREAT, and head into networking with confidence and clarity.

Your Next Career Move is the program that can get you there.

If you're over-do for a change and wish you had the support, then breathe a sigh of relief because I help professionals, like you, develop a clear path towards a meaningful career.

Headshot of Kara P. a career coaching client.

“I signed an offer letter last Thursday night (a 37% base salary increase). Everything in my gut tells me this is the right move, and I’m so excited. I’m so appreciative and grateful to have taken your workshop.”

Kara P. | Product Manager

“I knew that working with Julie would provide me with the support that I needed. And it absolutely paid off. I literally would not be in the dream job that I’m in if it weren't for Julie's support (and connections) along the way.”

Sarah P. | Business & Strategy Manager

Here’s what your life looks like when you join an intentional group program for professionals.

You'll connect with others going through the same struggles - plus have a community to turn to when you feel stuck.

You'll gain perspective on your situation by hearing about others' experiences, giving you clarity as you map your path forward.

You'll develop a greater sense of purpose guiding your direction on what comes next, whether a new job or starting a business.

You'll have renewed confidence and less self-doubt as you ask for a salary increase or head to a networking event.

You'll bring greater joy and energy to other areas of your life, with improved relationships and an overall increase in your well-being.

I’ve been there too…

About 10 years into my career in public policy, I reached a point of burnout. It wasn't just the crazy hours that were getting to me, but that my work didn't reflect my values. I was doing what I thought I should do – yet still thinking I was failing.

So, I took a leap to figure out what came next. And it felt really uncomfortable.

I went out and started talking to people. In coffee shops, over meals, and asked, "How did you get where you are?" I found that most felt like they had fallen into their career – or – were still waiting to get "there," no one had all the answers, and careers were not linear. I also realized that work and life – they're inextricably connected. There is simply no way for your mind and body to be miserable 40+ hours a week without impacting your quality of life.

I took time to reflect…

I reflected on what I care about, what I enjoy, and where those pieces met in a way that could pay the bills. I ended up pivoting to organizational development and leadership because we need more individuals and organizations – public, private, and not-for-profit – who lead from values. I also believe that leaders are not titles – but everyone can, and often does – lead in their lives.

I also realized how much I enjoy listening to and learning about other people's careers. I was struck by how many people in the middle stages were questioning their path. As a consultant, I interviewed professionals across all fields and facilitated team retreats with CEOs and executives. So many in leadership positions had access to private coaching. I thought about all the mid-career people questioning their path. What was out there for them?

So I decided to design my own workshop series…

3 Phase Process

PHASE ONE

KICK-OFF & CORE VALUES

This is where we'll clarify your core values and figure out how expressed they are in your life and your work. You’ll get real about any areas of self-doubt that might be holding you back, and I'll share tools for you to try out before we get started in the group workshop.

PHASE TWO

FOUR PART GROUP WORKSHOP SERIES

You’ll join a small group of people in a similar position - feeling stuck and committed to getting clarity. We'll meet together over four weeks for 2-hour sessions to discuss personal reflections (you’ll be given ahead of time) with the group. You'll leave with a Plan to Thrive, which sets out what comes next, and the action steps you need to take.

PHASE THREE

WRAP-UP & TRANSITION

You’ll dive more deeply into your Core Values and your individual Plan to Thrive. We’ll get clear about any challenges you anticipate, your immediate next steps and what accountability you need to see your next career move through.

I KNOW WHAT YOU’RE THINKING

You've never spent this much money (or any money) on your career.

It's hard to justify spending money on something you could "potentially" do yourself with millions of online articles and job search sites.

But think about it this way:

The investment in a career coaching program is more affordable than investing in online courses - or going back to grad school - to help you figure out a new career path.

The investment in a career coaching program is more efficient than spending your evenings scrolling LinkedIn and Indeed job posts - that you have no interest in.

The investment in a career coaching program is more enjoyable than spending every extra minute of your day trying to figure out how to translate your skill set or start looking for what’s next.

“It’s so eye-opening to see others go through the same internal and external struggles with wanting more in their careers.”

Lucy | Operation Support

“Julie creates a supportive environment and structures the session in a way that welcomes participants to open up, be vulnerable, and connect with others on a similar journey. The perfect recipe to help individuals discover the next fulfilling phase of their career and beyond.”

Erica | Human Resources

“Hearing what my peers were experiencing and asking helped put my own situation into more context. I felt not alone in the struggle to figure out what the "right path" is for me, which made the question feel less daunting.”

Still have questions?

  • Join the club! 😀 We work with people who want to do meaningful work - however (and for however many hours) that looks for you. We believe in looking at our careers holistically, and for some people, that means paid employment that feels meaningful for 40 hours a week, for others it’s creating a work-life that supports the meaningful work we want to do outside of paid employment.

  • I know it might feel strange to talk about feeling stuck with a group of people you don’t know. But doing this work on our own is isolating and hard. In every single cohort, over the last 4 years, the single biggest theme has been the relief that comes with knowing you’re not the only one feeling stuck in your career.

We don’t go through life alone - and we shouldn’t feel we have to go through our careers alone either.

  • Absolutely. Introverts have nothing to fear, as this group is purposely kept small (up to six people) and is facilitated with clear directions and expectations. We’ve had many introverts go through this process and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. We always ask each participant to share ahead of time what they need to show up authentically in a group, and we make sure to structure as best we can.

If you’ve got more specific concerns about being part of a group, reach out to talk. We partner with some great coaches who specialize in supporting people with social anxiety or who identify as neurodivergent and need accommodations to participate.

  • Great question. We leave it up to you to self-define. In general, participants have 10+ years of job experience. We want you to have enough time working to know what you enjoy doing, what you want to do more of, and what type of work environments you thrive in.

We've had people managers, Director and VP level, and individual contributors - there is no expected level of role to participate.

  • We're always happy to host an in-person. If you're in the Seattle area, reach out, and we can talk about scheduling a group in person. We get requests all the time and work with people to build local cohorts.

But if you live elsewhere, you will love connecting with people all around the country. We know screen fatigue is real, so we encourage you to build a buffer between the end of your work day and the start of the workshop. But if that can't happen, we get it! We work to keep the sessions engaging, interactive, and inclusive for all people.

  • A whole range - you'll generally have public, private, and non-profit sectors all represented in a cohort. We work with people across professional industries, with the common theme being mid-career. Past program participants have worked in: tech, education, public engagement, non-profit leadership, healthcare, fundraising… you name it. There is a considerable benefit from the diversity of experience and perspectives represented in the cohort (and the wider Reframe community!)

  • I get it. It feels like a lot of money. It is absolutely an investment in yourself, your future, and your overall well-being.

What I can tell you, is that I've been holding this workshop for over 4 years and I wouldn't keep doing it if I didn't see the growth, the relief and frankly the joy that comes from people figuring out what comes next for them.

As one client put it, "If my car isn't working, I pay for a mechanic to get it running. If I'm feeling sick, I go to a doctor to help me feel better. If my career isn't working, then I need to invest in getting it back on track."

  • It might be! It depends on where you are right now and what you're looking for. If you've been in the workforce and taken time away for caregiving duties, absolutely reach out.
